While traveling through Nicaragua, RK Records Robert Keith Koledo asked about Nicaragua’s best music, and was pointed in the direction of Vivian Lopez and Luis Perez, also known as ‘Vivian y Luis’. Traveling through the countryside Robert was led to a tree covered field in the old part of Managua, walked to an old building housing a saloon filled with spirits, music and a sense of times of old. He met many new and wonderful friends including Vivian y Luis, and the connection began. A project that was 8 years in the making has finally come to fruition. RK Records and Sugo Music Group are proud to present for the first time the stunningly beautiful work of Vivian y Luis and their 7 piece high performance band, Chekere.
