"Inventive arrangements, the respect shown toward the classic melodies,
and the excellent musicianship..." - iTunes

Along with an all-star cast of musicians, Sugo Music & Producer Mark Gasbaro has documented one of the more memorable music collections in the past few decades. Gerald Albright's contemporary and straight-ahead collections have established the Los Angeles-based musician as one of the most prominent artists. Indeed, Albright was one of the ten featured saxophonists who performed at President Clinton’s inauguration. He was also featured at the Presidential Summit, as well as several private functions for the President. Albright had sold over 1,000,000 albums in the U.S. alone. His self-produced music features him on bass guitar, keyboards, flutes, drum programming, and background vocals. Gerald has definitely earned the reputation as the “musician’s musician.” Russell Malone first worked with master Jazz organist Jimmy Smith in 1988, and between 1990 and 1994 toured with Harry Connick, Jr. During the late nineties Malone toured internationally with Diana Krall, receiving critical acclaim in his role as Diana's right hand both in concert and on her recordings. Russell has also shared the stage with artists of the caliber of Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Claude Fiddler Williams, Bucky Pizzarelli, Jack McDuff, John Hicks, Clarence Carter, Little Anthony, Freddie Cole, Mulgrew Miller, Kenny Barron, Roy Hargrove, Cyrus Chestnut and Patti Austin.

As a testament to his immense talent and broad ranging appeal, John Clayton served as the Artistic Director of Jazz for the Los Angeles Philharmonic from 1999 through 2001. In addition, he is Artistic Director for the Centrum Jazz Workshop in Port Townsend, Washington and was also appointed Artistic Director for the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival in 2006. John has written and arranged music for Diana Krall, DeeDee Bridgewater (including her Grammy award winning CD "Dear Ella"), Natalie Cole, Milt Jackson, Nancy Wilson, Quincy Jones, George Benson, Dr. John, Gladys Knight, Regina Carter, Queen Latifah and many others. Sandi Patty is the most awarded female vocalist in contemporary music history, with 39 Dove Awards. She was inducted to Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2004 and an Indiana Living Legend in 2007. She is one of the most highly acclaimed performers of our time, with 5 Grammy Awards, 4 Billboard Music Awards, 3 Platinum records, 5 Gold records, and 11 million units sold, Sandi is simply known as “the Voice.”  Janis Siegel is a nine-time Grammy winner and a seventeen-time Grammy nominee -- has been an undeniable force in The Manhattan Transfer's diverse musical catalog. Siegel has amassed a large international fan base and garnered consistently high critical praise. Followers of Oleta Adams often refer to her as the ONLY singer, with her honest, soulful vocals, unforgettable songs, and uplifting arrangements. Throughout her long career, which began with Oprah Winfrey's endorsement of the immortal 'Get Here,' Oleta's fans flock to her sold-out shows...  The Crown Project features many more acclaimed artists. We are proud that these artists have come together to pay tribute to Gershwin, Ellington and Mancini on these three very special collections! Dmitri Matheny is known for his warm tone, soaring lyricism and masterful technique and is "the first breakthrough flugelhornist since Chuck Mangione" - San Jose Mercury News. He was voted "Best New Artist" in the Jazziz Readers Poll and "Talent Deserving More Recognition" in the Down Beat International Poll.
